Goal:
- To identify the priority learning needs of advanced practice nurses to improve their knowledge, skills, and confidence to integrate research and research related activities into their roles.
- To identify advanced practice nurse preferences for learning formats and modes of delivery to improve their knowledge, skills, and confidence to integrate research and research related activities into their roles.
- To identify advanced practice nurse preferences about resources and supports to facilitate the integration of research and research related activities into their roles
- To examine individual, role, and jurisdictional factors that may influence advanced practice nursing learning needs and preferences.

- Quantitative survey in two stages
- Survey of nurse practitioners in Canada
- Survey of advanced practice nurses internationally
