PEPPA Plus Framework
The PEPPA Plus toolkit is an evaluation framework that was developed in response to the lack of evidence-based information required to support the development of advanced practice nursing (APN) roles in Switzerland. Through a participatory approach, a robust, evidence-based, and practical framework was developed to evaluate a range of APN roles across three stages of role development: introduction, implementation, long-term sustainability.
The PEPPA Plus toolkit includes examples and templates of:
- Evaluation objectives, structures, processes, and outcomes by stage of role development
- Information needs and evaluation questions for each stage of APN role development
- Evaluation plan
- Vertical and horizontal integration of PEPPA Plus concepts
